The death of George Floyd, Blackout Tuesday, comparing a respected person (Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma) with an ape… It all made me think: What does God have to say? After all, He has the last say!
God is mighty but despises no one! (Job 36:5) God created humans to be like Himself. (Genesis 1:27, CEV) Anyone who despises another human being on whatever grounds is despising God who created them to be like Himself. And if you compare another human being with an animal, you compare God who made the person (to be like Himself) with an animal!
None of us created ourselves, and all that we have, our race, our colour, all our gifts and talents, were given to us by God. “What is so special about you? What do you have that you were not given? And if it was given to you, how can you brag?” (I Corinthians 4:7, CEV) God can take away in one moment what He has given us! Just one little stroke, and we can be reduced to a vegetable!
“But if you look down on people because they have a different colour or race, then you do the will of another Christ! And that is the Anti-Christ!”
If I am a true Christian, then everyone who does the will of God is my brother or sister, whether he or she is black or Asian or a Jew or white or whatever! Jesus Himself said: “For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” (Mark 3:35, NKJV) But if you look down on people because they have a different colour or race, then you do the will of another Christ! And that is the Anti-Christ!
Hitler’s henchmen and the architects of apartheid in South Africa made their own gospel and created their own “Christ”. If you are a true Christian, you will be thoroughly ashamed of it and will dissociate yourself completely from everyone with such a mindset! “Come out from among them. And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (II Corinthians 6:17, NKJV) This is what God has to say!
But, God has much more to say! In the next two posts I’ll share about the “nanny that overthrew apartheid,” and the heroes of a “Silent Revolution”, whom God could use to transform and change the hearts and minds of diehard racists …

Hear Oh Israel, the Lord God is one! He has poured out His Spirit upon young and old, those who love and obey Him. He has revealed His will to His prophets in these end times. He has anointed His servants with the spirit of wisdom and revelation. Listen, take heed and obey His word and you will see and experience the glory of the Lord!

Thank you so much for this writing. I am looking forward the the next two articles.
I also loved reading your ‘about me’. Amazing how God leads our way when we are open to Him and His leading.

I was so encouraged when I read this article. Thank you for bringing a biblical perspective on a topic that affects many of us. The topics of racism is largely untouched and seems a bit taboo. One of my dear European friends wrote me that it sometimes seems that, as Christians, we think we are above these issues of racism, and maybe that is why it is largely not spoken about. Thank you for your wisdom and deep care!

Thank you dear Brother for your Blog in which you boldly and bravely take on the burning issues of our times and provide Godly perspective from God’s Word and your life as to how God sees situations and what our attitude should be, in the light of Jesus’ heart and life.
